Data and tools for cattle management.

Identified technologies
GoReact / TypeScriptFlutter

The problem

Cattle management needs farm data and field work in one product, with access kept within each client’s scope.

The solution

BovControl connects a client portal, administration and field app to one API. Maps, tables and local data support different uses.

What makes up the solution

Project scope Developed with Breno Soares. The interfaces share API contracts, with data and access organized by client and farm.

My contribution

I develop BovControl with Breno Soares. Our work covers the platform’s architecture and implementation, with an API, portals and a field app for cattle management.

Architecture overview

A modular API, web portals and app share contracts. Access uses client and farm scopes.

Technical structure

Technology by module.

A monorepo with five surfaces: API, client portal, administration, website and field app.

What each part does and which technologies support it. A module in the code does not mean all its features are complete or published.

01 / Existing code

API

GoHTTPSQL Server

Domain rules, use cases and contracts.

Modules use domain, application, infrastructure and transport boundaries. The go-mssqldb driver connects storage to SQL Server.

02 / Existing code

System

ReactTypeScriptVite

Client operation portal.

Domain-based screens and features use the API. Map and table components support operational views.

03 / Existing code

Administration

ReactTypeScriptVite

Platform administration.

A separate administrative surface, apart from the client portal and backend rules.

04 / Existing code

Website

ReactTypeScriptVite

Public product website.

A website with its own composition and build, without direct operational database access.

05 / Existing code

Mobile app

FlutterDartSQLiteGoogle MapsFirebase

Mobile field operations.

Local storage, device features and map/notification integrations support the API contracts.

How the parts connect

cli, adm and app use the Go API as the business-rule boundary. The website is a separate public surface. The app accounts for network access, permissions and local state.

Data and integrations

SQL Server is the API database. SQLite supports local app storage. Data and permissions follow client and farm context.

Quality and operations

Per-stack checks and CI/release workflows. Tagged versions, environment identity and smoke checks support delivery. Mobile validation has its own evidence.
